What Insurance Adjusters Wished YOU Knew As The Drying Contractor!! This will focus on Insurance adjustors – what do they need on the paper work, pricing, technique and approved methods for water restoration.

Heat Drying with Ken Horvath“The Basics of Heat Drying”, the importance of heat in the drying process. The different types of heat drying equipment. How to use and setup different heat drying equipment. Actual hands on with the equipment in which we will run electric and diesel units so you can actually feel the heat and get an idea of the actual process. Full room, wall drying, “Focus” drying and using heat with dehumidifiers will be demonstrated.

Hello and Happy New Year!

I hope the holiday season was joyous and profitable for all of you. After the year before, you deserved it!

Please make plans and mark your calendars for 2 very important dates. Why are they important? Each event will bring you a .5 CEC for your IICRC requirements. On Tuesday January 11th, we are having our MONTHLY Chapter Meeting at Foothill Vacuum and Janitorial located at 1595 West Foothill Blvd, Upland, CA 91786. Patrick Moffett of Environmental Management will be teaching “How to Dry Contaminated Crawlspaces.” We will also have a second speaker-Kent Wiese of Specialty Document Systems Inc. Dinner will be provided.

The second event is the Royalty Carpet Mill Tour on Tuesday January 18th. Mr. Jim Hernandez of Royalty will take us on a full tour of both facilities. We will start at 9 AM. Be there a little early so we can touch base and get signed in. For more information, I can be reached at 877-741-1234.
